Behind the scenes of Keepsake

More About The Film

Shot on location in Southwestern Virginia, Keepsake is the third film produced by Stormcatcher Films, LLC. Producer Scot Tanner orchestrated the twenty-four day shoot in August of 2007 and reunited many of the talented crew members from his previous productions. With crew members coming from as far as Los Angeles, California and Seattle, Washington, Keepsake proved to be Stormcatcher Films’ largest and most ambitious production to date.

Shot on film over a dozen different locations, the film tells the story of a young woman’s thirty day ordeal at the hands of a brutal psychopath. Overseeing a cast and crew of forty plus people, director Paul Moore guided the production through the rigorous shooting schedule. Paul worked closely with director of photography Todd Gilpin and sound recordist Tom Beach to craft the sights and sounds of Keepsake. The end result was the realization of a strong cinematic vision and great leap forward for Stormcatcher Films.

Once the film was edited and the picture locked, Paul began to work closely with post production facility Crawford Communications on sound design and Walter Biscardi of Biscardi Creative Media on color correction for the film. Scot enlisted award winning composer Todd Allen and his team at Prototype Advertising and worked tirelessly with them on perfecting the film’s score.

The ultimate result is a movie with all of the elements of success. Imbued with suspense , drama, intensity and horror, Keepsake appeals to the very core of genre audiences. Stormcatcher Films, LLC is very proud of their third film and is excited about all of its possibilities. Stormcatcher Films, LLC continues to grow commercially and artistically and Keepsake marks the next evolution in that process.
